Salem international ministries is a mission which is based on Christian Fundamental and Apostolic Pentecostal Doctrine, helping fellow being, who are needy and oppressed with sincere charitable heart also we focus to reach the Unreached people with Gospel of Jesus Christ and to equip the churches with Word of God and to be Holy for growing to be spiritually matured and help them to be perfect and blameless on the Day of the Lord with the Holy Spirit.

Our Principles

Salem international ministries founded upon the Principles of Protestantism, although it is not a traditional follower of any specific leader of the Protestant Reformation. The denomination stands firmly for justification by faith, the priesthood of believers, the authority of the Bible, religious freedom, and the separation of church and state. It stands against abuses and extravagance of ecclesiastical ritualism and dogmatism. We have our fundamentals. Salem international subscribes to the following SEVEN foundational Christian doctrines:

1. The inerrancy and infallibility of the Bible.

2. The virgin birth and complete deity of Christ.

3. The atoning sacrifice of Christ’s death for the sins of the world.

4. The literal resurrection of the body (the Rapture).

5. Christ’s second coming in bodily form to earth.

6. The millennium Kingdom of the Lord Jesus Christ (Thousand Years Reign).

7. a) The Judgement and the eternal punishment (Hell)

b) Eternal happiness (Heaven)

Spiritual outpouring, they identified as the baptism of the Holy Spirit because it was so similar to the experience of the early Christians on the day of Pentecost, it came to be called a Pentecostal experience, an enrichment of the Christian life through the power of the Holy Spirit that empowered believers to be effective witnesses of Christ. The principle distinctive of the Church of God as a Pentecostal organization is its belief in speaking with other tongues as the Spirit gives the utterance and that this is the initial evidence of the baptism in the Holy Spirit.

Our JOURNEY

Salem international ministry, a great vision of the great God, And, in His mercy, He chose Pastor K M Abraham as the founder of The Salem international miniseries on the year of 1978. It was the humble beginning. As a minister of the Gospel he responded to the calling of God while he was pastoring in a church in Nedumkandam, district Idukki, Kerala, India and he started small fellowship in his house at Kumily.

The history the Kumily started with the government settlement the labors in the year of 1960. On those days people faced a lot of problems like fighting against the diseases like Malaria, Cholera, Small pox plague while on the other side they faced the challenges from the wild animals in such situation people never thought of their future. During this time pastor K.M. Abraham father of pastor K.P. Mathew was the pioneer missionary of high range part of Kerala, He started a small fellowship his at his home. That was the first Pentecostal fellowship in Kumily.

Pastor K.M Abraham had three children. As his vision all are the part of ministries. K. M. Johny was the supporter of pastor K.M Abraham in the beginning of His ministers but God called Him back and we gave farewell in the year of 1996. It made some challenges in the ministers but the Lord's Words made Him To be strong in mission.

Jesus says “I will build my church the gates of hell shall not prevail” Mat::16 :18. God always seeking, the people who is having the dedication and the mind of suffering.

Family support is one of the major factors to make one successful for the mission and make a warrior. Elssamma Abraham is the co-founder of the Salem international ministries. God used her to support a lot to pastor Abraham's ministries in all his difficulties.

In the year 2005 Dr. K. A. Mathew also joined in the ministries as the Director of all Missions that made more impacts to missions especially for the expansion of the church and other institutions.

In the year 2010 we could start our first mission training center in Kumily. Later God made that institution as theological seminary. A lot of young servants of the Lord passed out from this small institution.

In the year 2011 as per the eternal divine plan Dr. Alvin John joined our mission as Mission Director and the Lord Give vision and burden for our mission. God has been using him, his time, his finance and all his efforts to fulfil God's vision come to reality

On the year of 2018 Natalia came to be a part of Salem international ministry by the marriage to Dr. Mathew and it was the fulfilment of her teenage vision to visit India and testify the Lord in India.

Now we are standing before the Lord as A Fast Growing Mission. We give all the honors to God almighty for how He is holding our hands. Now we have 164 church in India and 57 church and the Bible college(newly started), in eastern Africa, 24 churches in south Africa.

Our Faith & Believes

Our BELIEVES and FAITH

The Holy Scriptures revealed the will of God and is all sufficient rule for faith and practice. The Holy Bible consisting of sixty-six (66) books including the Old and New Testament and is the inspired Word of God, a revelation from God to Man, concerning the will of God in all things necessary to our faith, conduct and salvation, so that whatever is not contained therein is not to be enjoined as an article of faith (Hebrews 4:12; 2 Peter 1:20-21; 2Timothy 3:15-17).In one God, eternally existing three persons, namely the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost (Deuteronomy 6:4; Isaiah 43:10-11; Matthew 28:19; Mark 12:29).That Jesus Christ is the only Begotten Son of the Father, conceived of the Holy Spirit, and born of virgin Mary (Isaiah 7:14; Matthew 3:16-17). That Jesus Christ died at the cross, and was buried and raised from the dead; that He ascended to heaven and is today at the right hand of the Father as our intercessor. *

In the Holy Ghost, the Lord and giver of life, who proceed from the Father and the Son, who with the Father and Son together is worshiped and glorified (John 14:16-17).

Man was created in the image and likeness of God, but fell by voluntary transgression and his only hope of redemption and salvation is in Jesus Christ; that all have sinned and come short of the glory of God, that repentance is commanded of God for all, and is necessary for forgiveness of sin; that salvation, new birth and justification are wrought by the grace of God, and faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and the renewing work of the Holy Ghost (Genesis 1:26-31; 3:1-7; Romans 5:12-21; 6:23; 10:13; Titus 2:11, 3:5-7).

The inward evidence of salvation, new birth and justification to the believer is the direct witness of the Spirit, and the outward evidence to all men is a life of righteousness and holiness (Romans 8:16; 12:1-2). In the ordinance of water baptism by immersion, in the name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Ghost, for all who repent and believe Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord (Matthew 28:19; Acts 10:47; Romans 6:4).

All believers are entitled to and earnestly seek the promise of the Father, the Baptism in the Holy Spirit according to the command of our Lord Jesus Christ; that the full consummation of the Baptism of the believers in the Holy Spirit is evidenced by the initial sign of speaking with other tongues as the Spirit give utterances and by the subsequent manifestation of the gifts and fruits of the Spirit(Luke 24:49, Acts 1:4-6; 1:8; 2:4; 2:38;10:44-46; 11:14-16; 15:7-9; 19:2-6; 1 Corinthians 12:1-31).

The Lord’s Supper consisting of the elements of bread and the fruit of the wine is a memorial of His sufferings and death and a prophecy of His second coming, and will be enjoined by all believers, “until He comes” (Luke 22:17-20; 1 Corinthians 10:16,17; 11:23-32).

Deliverance from sickness is provided for in the atonement and is the privilege of all believers, and the anointing of the sick with oil for healing and the laying on of hands (Isaiah 53:4; Matthew 8: 16-17; Mark 16:18-20; James 5:14-16).

The Church is the body of Christ, the habitation of God through the Spirit, with divine appointments for the fulfilment of His great commission; and that a divinely called and scripturally ordained ministry have the two fold purposes of evangelization of the world and the edifying of the body of Christ (Ephesians 1:22,23; 2:19-22; Hebrews 12:23; Mark 16:15-20; Ephesians 4:11-13).In the pre-millennial second coming of Jesus Christ, the resurrection of those who are asleep in Christ, and the rapture of those who are alive and remain in the coming of the Lord, is eminent and is the blessed hope of the Church (Romans 8:23; 1 Corinthians 15:51-52; 1Thessalonians 4:16-18; Titus 2:13).

In the appearance of the Lord Jesus Christ from heaven, the salvation of all Israel, and the millennial reign of Christ on this earth is the scriptural promise and the world’s hope (Romans 11:25-27; 2 Thessalonians 1:7; Revelation 19:11-16; 20:1-7).

The devil and his angles, the beast and the false prophet, and whosoever is not found written in the Book of Life will be cast into everlasting punishment into the lake that is burning with fire and brimstone (Revelation 19:20; 20:10-15).

The Mission of our Church:

After Jesus’ death and resurrection, he spent 40 days on earth ministering to people and preparing His disciples for life without Him. Jesus planned on leaving earth and ascending to heaven, but before doing so, He gave His disciples a mission found in Matthew 28:19-20. We often call this mission The Great Commission.

The Great Commission begins with getting up and going to places where people need to hear about the good news of Jesus. This doesn’t mean you have to leave your country—there are people in your own neighborhood and workplace that need to hear the hope of Jesus.

The ultimate goal of the Great Commission is to make followers of Jesus. So as we go about sharing the good news of Jesus with people, we're to show people how Jesus has changed our lives, and invite them to discover Jesus for themselves.

Jesus also instructs us to baptize new believers. Baptism is a symbol of someone’s incorporation into the family of God. It is their public display of their new faith in Jesus. Baptism is such an important part of the Christian life that Jesus made sure to include it in our mission.

It can be easy to think that making disciples and baptizing believers is the responsibility of our church pastors and ministry leaders. While those things certainly are part of every church’s mission, Jesus intended for every believer to be making disciples.

So take a moment to think about someone in your own life who helped you grow spiritually. Ask God to bring to mind someone you can help and disciple. Then, allow God to give you the courage to share the hope of Jesus with those around you.

Pastor K.M .Abraham is the man chosen by God to be the founder of Salem Ministries. Born in 1950 as the third son of Pastor K.P Mathew Eliaymma, the first 2 children were expired and after the long times prayer God granted Abraham as a elder son He is having a sister named Deenamamma. Let Pastor K.M Johny was the younger brother of Pastor K M Abraham. In1996 we gave the farewell to Him in 1978 when he was in the fasting and prayer the spirit of the Lord spoke to Him and he started the Salem ministries in Kumily. then the life was went through the struggles and difficulties But all His difficulties God give His grace and He used for the Gods miracles .. a lot of people healed and demon possessed people were delivered and churches were established in Kerala for the glory of God. His beloved wife Elsa Abraham is helping him in the ministry in all areas of his life. It is an example of deep divine dedication, priceless dedication and grace of God that both of them were able to understand it as the time that God gives to realize the love of God after the experiences of hunger and sorrow of the evangelical work. God blessed them with two sons and one daughter All are helping the ministry to reaching and fulfilling God's word and the vision which God plan to through the Salem international ministries.

About me: "Is anything too hard for the Lord?" this is one of the famous question From almighty!

God asks the mortal man sometimes the human mind undertesting the divine plans until and unless if you do not understand the will of God we feel confused then insecure that will guide us to the failures recently I read a book about the God's will.
"God’s plan is always the best. Sometimes the process is painful and hard. But don’t forget that when God is silent, He’s doing something for you."
When I look back at my life. All my experiences are real-life experiences, a lot of failures but in may age 19 I met JESUS in my Life. Then He turned me as victorious life as n for His glory and the expansion of our Lord's kingdom...long years I was in the Bible seminaries that gave knowledge and vibrant personality and inner perspective for the Lord's ministry. When the years run away from me, I never feel I am getting old but feel that I am more experienced in some years as a pastor with music time spent in missionary founded Bible colleges, did work as a television program Director, theological teacher, gospel preacher, and writer social worker ... wow He is using me wonderfully .. For Lord's Glory, I created one musical event in Kumily as the first in Indian history, with 13 Indian language singers from 13 Indian stats. and I can say HE IS MAKING ME EXTRAORDINARY MAN FOR HIS GLORY and I am considering the great blessing from lord nothing other than my parents my siblings and all my friends, I am praying and trying to keep them always with me the great gift which God gave to me my life i consider my family my wife Natalia and four cute daughters, She is very much supportive in my ministries, In 2018 we got marry and now we have four girls children, we praying for God want to use then for His Glory.

About me: I born and raised in an orthodox christian family.

and received salvation by grace at the age of 21.

God helped me in obtaining master’s degree in social work from Mahatma Gandhi university, and doctoral degree in Integrated Behavioral Health ( Arizona State University, USA).

I got married and migrated USA in 2005 and I am blessed with three children.

I am working as a full time licensed social worker.
